We at SAE-IM (Society of Automotive Engineers Manipal), a team of dedicated and professional gearheads, aim towards adding to the automobile community, in both knowledge and numbers by introducing the students of Manipal to the Automobile world through our extensive and all year round informative seminars, hands-on workshops and vibrant events along with a convivial web of professors and students to help give rise to a passionate and creative generation of students in the world of mobility.

The vision of SAE-IM is to strive for innovation and excellence in Automotive Design and Concepts. We strive towards creating an extended family of automotive enthusiasts and indulging into the tank of knowledge together. SAE-IM believes in utilizing hands-on experience rather than traditional class room interaction to educate its members for a holistic educational experience.

We, at SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers), being a vast international organization of over 128,000 engineers and technical experts, are dedicated to bringing about a global advancement in the field of mobility engineering by helping bridge together a substantial web of students, engineers and companies; attracting, managing and distributing automobile related information through education and technical publications & forming beneficial affiliations and interfaces to help encourage innovation and add value to the field of Automotive Engineering.
